Our professional instructors have many years of dance, performing, and teaching experience, in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical/contemporary, hip hop, and tumbling.
Jennifer Dean- Owner/Instructor: Jennifer has been dancing for 42 years in all styles of dance. She trained in Ballet with Maggi Moar at Utah State University Dance West Company and Penelope Duddleston (Ogden) and in tap, jazz, hip hop and lyrical with LaShars Studio under Lisa Holtz and Becky Tanaka. *Awarded Studio Dancer of the Year at Tremaine Convention, and Scholarships to Dance Olympus Convention. *Member of the Hi-Lo Drill Team and Logan High School Cheerleader. Performed in" Sound of Music"," Oklahoma", & "Brigadoon". *Choreographer for "The Music Man". Featured performer with Donny Osmond for "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat" performace at Stadium of Fire. *Utah State Sunburst Dancer. *Guest Performers with Odyssey Dance Theatre's Thriller *Celebrate America Dancers/Choreographer and Dance Director. *2002 Olympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies Choreography Team. *Disney Magic Music Days Performer & Choreographer. *Dance Festival Competition Director. *Instructor/Choreographer LaShars 30 years.
Natalie Brisighella Butler- Instructor/Choreographer: Natalie began dancing with LaShars 20 years ago. She has been an instructor and choreographer at LaShars for nearly 10 years. Having trained in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, musical theater, hip hop and tumbling with instructors from all over the nation. Performances include several state competitions and showcases, Odyssey Dance Theater's Thriller, Freedom Fire, Stadium of Fire, Disney Magic Music Days, and many more. Natalie has received training in dance instruction, various dance styles, and choreography through several national dance conventions and classes. She is a proud Cache Valley native and attended Utah State University from 2010-2014. She has well rounded teaching experiences working with all ages- as a Preschool Teacher for ages 3-5, Summer Camp Director for ages 5-12, and High School Debate Assistant Coach for ages 14-18. Natalie has a true love of dance education and enjoys watching so many students grow, create friendships, and cultivate a love for dance.
