Hair Tips: *Find the clip photos below to know where to place the barettes for our dancers wearing the burgundy costume. *Please make sure that the ends are curled. *Fewer and larger ponytails look better than several small ones.
Makeup tips and reminders:
*Makeup video is a general reference for colors and tips. It does not need to be followed exactly. *Sr. Company and older MUST wear false eyelashes. Younger dancers need to at least have eye makeup in brown/darkish tones, red/burgundy lipstick (not gloss) and blush that shows up.
Harlem Globetrotters Information:
We've included a copy of the Globetrotters note below- please refer to it if you have any questions.
First, here are a couple of additional reminders: -DANCERS MUST HAVE THEIR TICKET WITH THEM TO PARTICIPATE. Please don't forget them!
-I've attached pictures of where the hair clips go for the dancers in the burgundy costume for reference. Aim them down around the second pony tail on each side towards the top.
"We are so excited for our Globetrotter halftime this Friday! We will need dancers to meet with our performance coordinator no later than 5:20. This is an important and professional event and you must be ON TIME.
Dancers come ready to dance in their costume, with footless suntan tights and dance paws, hair and makeup ready, with your LaShars jacket or t-shirt over the top and some leggings or pants. Costumes will not be allowed in the arena except during the performance. After a brief meeting with our performance coordinator, we will have a quick practice and then go into the gym to be seated for the show. Dancers can sit with parents to watch the first half of the game. Jr. Company, Sr. Company and Rhythmline will be facing the east bleachers and Dynastarz will face the West to perform.
We will leave the gym to lineup at 4 minutes to halftime. *Please be watching so that your dancer does not miss our performance.* After the performance, dancers will then go back to their seats to enjoy the rest of the show- with their costumes covered up once again. Teachers are staying for the game and can stay with those who are attending without parents.
All our dancers have worked so hard to be ready for this amazing opportunity! We are so proud of you. This is going to be awesome!"
